More about this list

At a hotel you register in and out — zameldować się and wymeldować się, the same verbs as at a council office. A room is jednoosobowy or dwuosobowy, and you ask whether breakfast is included with Czy śniadanie jest wliczone w cenę? On a train you often need a miejscówka, a seat reservation, as well as a ticket. Poles like going on wczasy — a plural-only word with a ring of the old-fashioned holiday — or to an agroturystyka, a farm stay in the country.
