Nowe mieszkanie

Marek shows off his first flat of his own — small, bright and without a washing machine.

A text about rooms and furniture. Watch the locative after w and na: w mieszkaniu, w pokoju, na drugim piętrze. And nie ma with the genitive: nie ma pralki, “there is no washing machine” — the negative changes the case of the thing that is missing.

Marek ma nowe mieszkanie. Mieszkanie jest małe, ale ładne i jasne. Jest na drugim piętrze.

W mieszkaniu jest pokój, kuchnia, łazienka i mały balkon. W pokoju jest łóżko, szafa, stół i dwa krzesła.

Kuchnia jest mała. Jest tam lodówka, ale nie ma pralki. Marek musi kupić pralkę.

Okno w pokoju jest duże. Blisko jest park i przystanek. Do centrum Marek jedzie tylko dziesięć minut.

Marek jest bardzo szczęśliwy. W sobotę jego przyjaciele przychodzą na kolację.
