The small things of a Korean home. Several are compounds that explain themselves once the parts are known: 칫솔 is a tooth-brush, 휴지통 a bin for paper, 옷걸이 a thing to hang clothes on. Many homes keep a 방석 or two, flat cushions for sitting on the floor. Quite a few words are English in Korean sounds, and they do not always mean the English word: 린스 is hair conditioner.
