Housework
Cleaning, laundry, washing-up and taking out the rubbish.
Household jobs are mostly 하다-verbs: 청소하다, 빨래하다, 설거지하다. Laundry has a word for each step — 빨랫감 is what waits to be washed, 널다 is hanging it out, 말리다 drying it. Rubbish is taken seriously in Korea: recycling, food waste and the rest go out separately and on set days, so 재활용품 and 쓰레기봉투 are words everyone knows.
