Moja rodzina

Kasia introduces her family: parents, a brother and an evening at the table.

The easiest text in this series. Watch the instrumental after być whenever someone says what they are: Mama jest nauczycielką., Tata jest lekarzem. English just says “is a teacher”; Polish changes the ending. And watch the locative after w: w Poznaniu, w szkole, w szpitalu.

Mam na imię Kasia. Mam dwadzieścia trzy lata. Mieszkam w Poznaniu.

Moja rodzina nie jest duża. Mam mamę, tatę i brata. Mieszkamy razem w mieszkaniu na drugim piętrze.

Moja mama jest nauczycielką. Pracuje w szkole. Mój tata jest lekarzem. Pracuje w szpitalu.

Mój brat ma na imię Tomek. Ma dwanaście lat. Bardzo lubi czytać książki i grać w piłkę.

Wieczorem jemy razem kolację i pijemy herbatę. Kocham moją rodzinę.
