Feelings
Happy, sad, angry, scared, worried, lonely and bored.
Korean states the speaker's own feelings with an adjective — 기뻐요, “I am glad” — and describes somebody else's with a verb made by adding -아/어하다: 동생이 기뻐해요, “my younger brother is glad”, because nobody can state from outside what another person feels. The pair changes the particle too: 개가 싫어요 but 개를 싫어해요. And English “bored” is two words here: 심심하다 when there is nothing to do, 지루하다 when something is dull.
