Il guasto del riscaldamento

A cold flat, a phone call and a repairman who comes late.

The text you need the words for before you have learned them. Notice gli dispiace in the fourth paragraph: literally “it displeases him” — Italian builds regret like piacere, with the person as the indirect object and the thing as the subject.

A novembre fa freddo in casa.

Giovedì Anna aspetta a casa.
