It Started to Rain
No umbrella, a heavy shower and a classmate who has two.
Change of state with le at the end of a sentence (xià yǔ le, it has started to rain), and the past with le after the verb. Short reasons are joined with yīnwèi and suǒyǐ.
昨天早上天气很好,所以小林没有带雨伞。
下午上完课,天阴了。一会儿就下雨了,雨下得很大。
小林在学校门口等了半个小时,雨还是没有停。他不知道怎么办。
这时候,他的同学小美走过来。小美说:“我带了两把雨伞,这把给你吧。”
小林非常高兴。他说:“太谢谢你了!明天我还给你。”
