Sport, music, games and the things people do at the weekend.
Many hobbies are nouns that take 하다: 수영을 해요, 등산을 해요. Others keep a verb of their own, and these are worth learning as pairs: a song is sung with 부르다, a dance danced with 추다, a guitar played with 치다, a photo taken with 찍다, a picture drawn with 그리다. Hiking, 등산, is one of the most popular weekend pastimes in Korea, and the walking gear shows it.
