A business report is thirty words you meet nowhere else. One of them is la relocalisation, and the English word it looks like means something quite different. French has a matched pair here: la délocalisation is moving production abroad, and la relocalisation is bringing it back home. English « relocation » is neither half of that — it is a firm moving premises or an employee moving city, with no direction and no politics in it. For the two French senses English reaches for « offshoring » and « reshoring », both built on « shore », the coast, while French built its pair on locus, the place. So the opposition the French word lives inside has no cognate name in English at all, and reading « relocation » where the text says relocalisation loses precisely what the sentence is about.
