To move house is verhuizen, the move is de verhuizing. When you move in the Netherlands you tell the council your new address: een verhuizing doorgeven. Furniture often comes flat-packed and has to be put together: in elkaar zetten. To furnish a room is inrichten: een kamer gezellig inrichten. The removal van is de verhuiswagen, a removal firm is het verhuisbedrijf.
