Lectures, credits, essays, theses and the language of study.
The words of university life fall into two groups. Some belong to the timetable — 강의, 학점, 수강 신청, 출석 — and some to the work itself: 자료, 분석하다, 결론, 논문. Note that 논문 covers everything from a student’s dissertation to a paper in a journal, and that 교양 here means the broad courses every first-year student takes.
