민수의 아침

An ordinary weekday morning, from getting up to the first lesson.

The easiest text in this series. Every sentence ends in the polite -아요/-어요 form, and most of them say one thing. Watch the particles that tell you where and when: 에 for a time or a destination, 에서 for the place where something happens.

민수는 대학생이에요. 민수는 매일 아침 일곱 시에 일어나요. 그리고 손을 씻어요.

아침은 집에서 먹어요. 오늘은 빵과 우유를 먹어요. 커피는 안 마셔요.

여덟 시에 집에서 나가요. 학교는 집에서 조금 멀어요. 민수는 버스를 타요.

오늘은 버스에 사람이 아주 많아요. 민수는 앉지 못해요. 조금 힘들어요.

아홉 시에 학교에 들어가요. 첫 수업은 영어예요. 민수는 영어 수업을 좋아해요.
